Golden Chair Community: the new platform to unite and elevate the profession

With the aim of consolidating the barbering community and elevating the profession, Golden Chair Community was created as a series of local events that combine education,

networking, and competition.

These events will bring together local academies, distributors, and manufacturers, global brands, professionals and apprentices, gastronomy, and suppliers, creating a space to share knowledge, discover trends, and promote the development of the profession.

"We want the community to feel united again, for every professional to have the opportunity to learn, teach, and grow within their environment. We are building a

platform to improve education, communicate with academies and professionals in a geographical area, consolidate the community with the best and most innovative products, and reflect on the future of our profession," explains Charles André, creator of this

new format, which retains all the essence of the annual event. “Golden Chair Community is a platform to raise the level of our industry and give visibility to new talent and innovative brands,” he points out.

The first Golden Chair Community event will be held on November 30 in Murcia, in collaboration with Nick Ziur Academy, run by renowned barber and entrepreneur Juan José Nicolás Ruiz, winner of Golden Chair and a leading figure in the sector. The event will be open to students, apprentices, and professionals from the provinces of Murcia, Alicante, Almería, and Albacete, with four official categories: Student/Apprentice, Fast Fade, Beard Cut,

and Creative Free Style Design. The jury will be composed of prominent professionals: Juan José Nicolás Ruiz (Murcia), Joaquín Ruiz (King Gillettess Academy, Terrassa-Barcelona), Bryan Ortega (Valencia/Colombia), and the renowned Javier Gomar as floor judge.
