About Event
A one-hour cruise on San Francisco Bay — out past Alcatraz, under the Golden Gate Bridge, and along the city's waterfront — with audio narration in multiple languages keyed to what you're seeing. The entry-level Bay cruise: short enough to fit any itinerary, long enough to deliver the iconic views.
The route covers the postcard checklist: Pier 39 and the sea lions, Alcatraz Island close enough to make out the cell-house walls, the open water under the Golden Gate Bridge with the Pacific on one side and the Bay on the other, the Marin Headlands rising green from the water, and the SF skyline as you turn back toward port. The narration runs in English plus several other languages on individual headsets, so you get context on every landmark as you pass it.
Open-air upper deck for the views and the wind in your hair; covered lower deck if the weather turns. The boat moves at a pace that lets you actually take in the Bay rather than racing through it.
Highlights:
• Cruise directly under the Golden Gate Bridge
• Close-up pass of Alcatraz Island
• San Francisco skyline from the water
• Multilingual audio narration
• Open-air upper deck and covered lower deck
Good to know: bring layers — the Bay is windier and cooler than the city, even in summer. Suitable for most fitness levels. Multilingual headsets included; ask staff for your language.
