Salsa Suelta Fusion — Sundays

Sunday mornings 10:00 to 11:00 at Ashkenaz in Berkeley. Salsa suelta is salsa danced on your own — no partner, no leading or following, just you and the music. That makes it the most forgiving way into Latin dance there is, and the fastest way to fix the thing that holds most social dancers back: their own footwork and timing. Expect shines, body movement and Afro-Cuban vocabulary, taught in Ashkenaz's big wooden-floored hall. All levels, and genuinely no partner required.
