About Event
A two-hour evening cruise on San Francisco Bay timed for sunset — past Alcatraz, alongside Angel Island, around the Sausalito waterfront, and under the Golden Gate Bridge as the light changes from gold to pink to dark blue. The cruise that turns the Bay into an event.
The route is longer and more leisurely than the daytime one-hour version. You see Alcatraz from multiple angles, the green hump of Angel Island, the lights of Sausalito coming on across the Bay, and the Golden Gate Bridge at the moment when its color is most photographed. The skyline of San Francisco does its own light show on the return leg.
Open upper deck for the views and the wind, covered lower deck with bar service. The vibe is slower and more social than the daytime cruise — couples, friends, small groups, a glass of something in hand as the sun goes down.
Highlights:
• Sunset timing for the best light over the Golden Gate Bridge
• Alcatraz and Angel Island passes
• Sausalito waterfront views
• Bar service on board
• Open-air upper deck for sunset photography
Good to know: dress warmer than you think — the Bay is significantly cooler than the city once the sun is down, even in July. Bring a jacket and closed shoes. Drinks available for purchase on board.
