Our multinational team aims to strengthen its position in the EMA Region (Europe, Africa, Middle East) and collaborates daily with KPMG practices across this region and globally to address the unique challenges and opportunities in healthcare and public health.
The profile’s primary goals within the public sector and healthcare domains include:
Supporting business development and project acquisition for international institutions (mainly EU, but also WB, UN, USAID, MDB, …)
Participating in project delivery, particularly in health and public health initiatives
Assisting in research and data analysis, focusing on healthcare trends and needs
KPMG Italy is currently looking for a Public Sector Consultant for the International team to join its fast-growing Government and International (G&I) practice, with a particular focus on healthcare consulting.
The consultant will work within the Public and Healthcare practice in Italy, collaborating with the EMA KPMG network and the global KPMG team, and will report to the KPMG Manager and Partner overseeing the International Public Sector, particularly in healthcare, in Italy.

Responsibilities include:
Supporting Business Development in the Public and Health Sectors:
Monitoring international healthcare and public sector developments.
Assisting with data analysis for health-related international opportunities.
Tracking Trends and Identifying Opportunities in Healthcare Consultancy Services:
Staying updated on major healthcare policy trends.
Monitoring future consulting opportunities in the health sector and developing market alliances.
Assisting in drafting technical and financial proposals for healthcare-focused international bids.
Expected qualifications:
University degree in Public Health, EU policies, Public Policy, International Relations, PPE, or a related field.
Familiarity with international institutions, either through direct experience or in a consulting capacity.
Prior exposure to public sector projects, especially in healthcare reform, operational redesign in health systems, digital health transformation, and performance assessment in healthcare.
Comfortable in a multicultural and diverse environment, with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong learning capacity and motivation to adapt to healthcare and public sector dynamics.
High proficiency in MS Office.
Excellent spoken and written knowledge of English and Italian; knowledge of another EU language is an asset.
Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment, especially in healthcare and public policy.
